Picture of the field work. We are getting into formation. We did the basic 4 and go/stop/call it everyday. Occasionally they threw in some other stuff.

Field drills. We did this everyday as well. I don't have any pictures of the cage work, but it was pretty standard.

@Johhnyg08   We did not, unless you had some issue with hearing or seeing. The moved us periodically so we sat in 3 different seat locations while we were there.

Umpires with trouble seeing? There's a joke there somewhere.

There probably weren't too many umpires admitting that they had poor eyesight at umpire school huh? :-)

Were they all trying for a job in professional baseball?

Yes. If you click on the photo, you can see all of them. 3 of them made it to the eval course and one on the reserve list.

Those baseball lights in the first picture are hilarious and appalingly tacky at the same time. The fields look nice.

Very cool @JonnyCat I shared your blog on our local association board and had several comments at our meeting today about what a great blog it was and how much they enjoyed reading it.

Those baseball lights in the first picture are hilarious and appalingly tacky at the same time. The fields look nice.

Those lights are all over the complex. There must be over a hundred of them.
