Unless you have in-person experience with French military personnel of the present I suggest you drink a hot, steaming cup of STFU. The French officers and soldiers I was with in Afghanistan were fit to fight, brave and extremely competent. Many of them went from one war zone (Ivory Coast) to another. Let it go. Stop being a dick.

@Majordave is correct. I fought next to some of them in the mountains and they are true warriors. The Polish solders are outstanding as well. The standard issue Afghans and Pakistani soldiers could not fight their way out of a 5 year olds birthday party. The Kurds are great and their women are as tough as nails on the battle field.

Sorry fellas / all.  I meant no harm or disrespect to the French then or now.  I don't have a dog in the fight and was just stirring the pot.  I forget that you can't see me, you don't know me, nor do you have an idea of my head or heart in most matters...seriously I was only kidding and took it too far.  Thanks for the heads up.  Good on ya.

I finally watched it yesterday when I had to stay home with the flu. It took me 4 hrs to watch it between me falling asleep, but I did watch it all.

I liked it much better than last years (which was very good) I think it did a great job making the guys seem much more human and showing their families. I also like that many of the things which they said about umpires being a fraternity, especially some of the things Jim Reynolds said.

There were some really great quotes in there too.

Searching for "tags" on the youtube video, but it tells you that the video is not "listed" and only people who have the link can watch it. That's why if you search for "2014 Third Team" on the tool bar, you'll have nothing...

By the way, i learned that there were older episodes....Do someone knows where it can be watched?

Hey Rulekeep:

Can you give us the link to the video?

My kids tell me that if it is on youtube I can watch it on the TV through some wireless gizmo thing.

If you don't mind, perhaps you could explain to us old farts how you found it.

Thanks.

GUYS.

THIS ISN'T THAT HARD.

You know what would happen if I left this site? You'd all accidentally unplug your routers and you would be so confused as to why you could only access the site via your phones and I wouldn't be here AND YOU'D NEVER KNOW HOW TO USE THE WIFI AGAIN.

At least, that's what it feels like, sheesh.

Here's something to keep in  mind while that head of yours is swelling........"Nobody's irreplaceable."
