I have searched everywhere and was unable to find any 3 man documentation. I will be working a 3 man playoff game and need a quick refresher. I do believe we have discussed this here before?? It has been about 4 years since my last 3 man adventure.

Do you guys use strictly hs mechanics or do you use mechanics that make sense? Such as not having the BU rotate home from 2B on a triple instead of taking the BR to 3rd with nobody on base?

It's 3-man. The PU covers third on a triple with no one one base.

I understand that it's three man. Our association is actually trying to get the 2 man mechanics modified to be more up to date and not contradict itself so much. That's why I ask.

Eh?

@grayhawk

Love it!

I was doing plate for an exhibition between Canadian Junior National Team barnstorming in Kentucky at Eastern Kentucky University in fall of 2008.

EKU was manhandling the Canucks.  Canuck coach on a bucket at least 100' away was commenting on balls and strikes.  "Where was that pitch, eh?  No way that was a strike, eh!, That pitch was up, eh!, How can you call that a strike, eh?.........."

I'd had enough after four or five innings and a couple of warnings.  I dumped the guy.  In a freakin' exhibition mind you.  When asked what he said by EKU catcher I said, "Hell if I know, I don't speak Canadian, Eh!"   I just wished I'd have said "You're gone, eh!" when I dumped him.  LMAO.

I bet that is the same guy I dumped up here in Illinois. He was kinda a jerk and did not make it to the second inning, both him first, then his son - both for profanity. Then he refused to leave so I dumped the whole game. Tournament director was sitting right there and was cool with the whole thing.....LOL...I bet it is the same guy....they came up on a big coach bus acting all big time and knew nothing.....

They have playoff's in teeball? Wow I can't imagine that here we dont even score teeball

Down here in SoCal, T-ball is a pretty big deal. It took me several years of work (going to camps/clinics ect.) before I was given the privilege of working the T-ball level. It doesn't surprise me that they're using a 3 man crew for the championship.

Wow thats very different here we didn't keep score and did. 3 innings where we each hit, If they allowed counts I would have struckout because I had an issue swinging over the tee, anyways good for kids at that age needing 3 umps speaks to their skill level for their age, when I first read it I wondered if perhaps it was adult age tee ball or somethibg similar

What I like the most is the milk and cookie break in the top of the 3rd inning.

I'd like to see your strike 3 mechanic in a T-ball game. Gotta sell the close ones!

Gotta go Tom Hallion in teeball, Go with grayhawk's philosophy:

If they're not crying, you're not trying.
