Did some browsing around and found that an eBay seller has a decent selection of the Reebok Field Magistrate plate and base shoes (not the zigs) for $64.90 (plate - low and mid) and $49.90 (base) with free shipping.  He has regular width and Extra Wide 4E in both low and mid cut.  I have seen other deals on the web for these shoes, but this eBay seller actually has more than just dwarf and Sasquatch sizes.  I picked up a pair of size 11 mid-cut plate shoes.

Just go to eBay and search "Reebok Magistrate" and you can see each item.  Happy hunting.

B/W Zigs still $49.98 at baseballsavings

No sizes Trout ....... they're basically out....

$67.96 minus 15% through the weekend.

YES, that's a good deal too .................  Trout was talking about the original Zig trainers that have been on the site for a while for $49, ...only 8, 8.5 and size 9 left, (I think)

Just got the midcut zig plates for $93 and change. Missed yesterday's free shipping, but added an item and took advantage of the $99 free ship offer.

I have some NB 450s that I wore for. Year until I got my first reeboks, never wore the 459s again. I have been wearing the Reeboks for tons of games ever since. 4 years or so. The support is starting to break down, so it is time to let them go.

So now I think. It will be a rotation between my 460s I picked up last year and the zigs I just ordered. Gotta keep my feet happy.

I got a pair of the Reebok plate shoes for those mudder days.  I have a wide foot and love NBs but they are like skates in bad conditions.  So I'm using NBs on nice days and Reeboks on mudder ones.  I did switch to the Reebok Quags this year because they have better traction than my NB base shoes which I loved.  After I took a near header at dusk (dewey and just slippery enough) doing an NECBL game last summer, I was looking for more traction.  I didn't want to hear that ooops music again after the play as I almost went down. LOL. Quags on Ebay for $49.95 with free shipping.

Baseball savings has the zigs in both white and black soles for $49.99 in just about every size most people would need right now. I haven't seen the plate zigs anywhere for a great price yet but then again I haven't really been looking for them either.

I was able to get the black plate zigs from Baseball Savings for $90 plus free shipping, they are coming Friday. 15% off plus free shipping is a pretty darn good deal in this profession.

I got the plate zigs for the same deal a couple of weeks ago. I got the mid cut. Wore them for the first time Tuesday night. Very light. Very comfy. They will be in rotation with my 460s. Time to retire my 450s (hard to get on) and my Magistrates (inside starting to deteriorate.

Can't say much about the cleanup yet. Called on a really nice surface and the shoes looked brand new after the game.
