Guess I can't THINK these prices are okay???? Didn't say "set in stone"...didn't say "must have"...put ball parks out there. Judging from different places(ebay/web) a lot of these numbers aren't to high...in fact...pretty low.

 

Example...used WV Platnium on Ebay right now selling for 105 with no pictures?

And Jax...I am not upset with your assessment...I was just putting out prices to start discussion.

I hope I didn't offend. Not my intent at all. I really should not have responded. I was driving and on my iPhone (at a red light) therefore my short answer. I think the ball bags were a bit tooo much.

You have the right to ask whatever price you'd like for your items.  "We" ("they" in this case) can offer opinions on your prices.  Jax has been working on his reading lately so he gets a little excited when he sees words that he knows.

These are fair prices in my opinion.  They're more than I'd like to pay for what I need for extra gear.  But for a new umpire who's looking for a primary CP or mask, I think your prices are reasonable.

I stock-piled for the same reason - giveaways to the newbies.  Just seems odd now to pay 3 times that for used bags. I know that's the normal price, but those OC's just messed up my equilibrium

I have something else to add to this post of Miscellaneous Items Available:

 

A Custom 10 in Black Douglas CP 

 

I did not come by this protector first hand an old partner of mine...who has since passed on gave this to me a few years back(maybe 3 at this point). He was getting out of umpiring due to health and gave it to me while I waited for my ordered Platinum to arrive. It has been in storage ever since.  Today I called Jeff Cook at Douglas and he confirmed anything less than a 12 would have been a custom order. Making this a very unique CP.

 

It is in great shape.

 

I don't really have a price in mind. I have storage space so not looking to give it away...more about finding someone who would give me a respectable offer and want a high quality unique product.
