Finally finished up my last games down here in FL, so I stopped by the UPS store to send off my platinum to be retrofitted. Can't wait to get it back. Hope to have it back by mid December and just in

yeah, it's a gap, but again, we are deciding to make a certain non-fatal sacrifice for comfort. I know I could wear a bomb suit back there and if I ever got hit, I wouldn't know it. Great gap pro

I should be getting my Gold & Platinum back by the first week of January. Ill post pics and might be looking to sell one of the pads depending on which CP fits me better with the retrofitting.

Here are the pics of my platinum!

I believe the padding from TW is larger in all ways, however, It would probably best behoove you to move the bottom plate UP, and have the TW pad hang lower, rather than have the large non-plastic gap near your throat. Just in case :)

Ok gentlemen, I have been searching through the threads for a couple of days now and haven't found anything about washing the retro fit. Would it be the same as the mask pad, or should it be handled differently? If anyone here has any tips or pointers I'm all ears.

The vest looks sharp with the TW padding. My west vest pro platinum is still fairly good. Looking to find a deal online for a used WV and upgrade it.

just got my backup protector (Wilson platinum) so the platinum will be the first to get the retrofit (i'm going to ask them to get rid of the wings, I don't like them) then going to send in my gold (wings already removed on it).

I picked up a Wilson Charcoal and really like the fit of this CP.  However it is a little more bulky than my Douglas.  Has anyone tried a TW retro on a Charcoal?  I am having a hard time rationalizing spending $120 on the retro fit for a CP you can buy new for under $100.

But maybe that's the point. If you're going to rip out and throw away all the padding, buy the cheapest padding out there. How does the plastic on the charcoal stack up? I don't know. Can a delta flex harness go on a charcoal? Jeff Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD

Did anyone ever find out if you can get the retro fit done on the Douglas? I think it was discussed a while back but I don't know what the consensus was. Has anyone had it done?
