For my base games, I wear under armour heat gear, for my plate games, I wear just a regular pair of under armour tights...why? The heat gear ones will wear out very quickly b/c of how they're made. For the cost, I wish I could wear them w/ my leg guards, but no luck.

I am in need of something to wear under my new shins. I've been wearing no knee diamonds, so straps arent an issue. Now I'm converting to my Wilson pros and the straps are gonna rub me raw. I am thinking about the shock doctor legs with the bioflex cup from U-A. Anyone got a better Idea (about the legs, not the cup)?

I have 1 pair of Under Armour cold gear leggings for high school and 2 pair of heat gear for summer. I wash them after each use and hang dry. After 3 years, they are still in great shape and have at least 3 more years left if not more. I have tried different brands in the past except for the shock doctor and have found that ua is the most comfortable and breathable.

I bought a pair of Starter Dri-Star tights from Wally World. They were on the clearance rack for like 5 bucks. Not really compression, but the moisture wicking was good. They were a gray color that matched my pants well in case of an unfortunate "blow-out." :agasp_: I am not a tiny guy by any means, but the fit was good and the price was right. I originally bought them as a base layer for cooler days, but I have worn them on the plate in 80-90 degree temps and they were comfortable.

I have a pair that I have used for 4 seasons now. I used them for not only baseball but football as well. I wore knee braces and I pulled them over the braces to keep the velcro straps from wearing on the inside of my pants. They have completely torn out in the crotch and are only held together by the flat lock stitching. I have been happy with them but wished they were made from a bit lighter fabric. I have probably used them in 1,000 games or more...I regularly work 250+ baseball and 30+ football games a season....not too bad for a $29 investment.
