Saw it last night when it happened. I was just getting ready to post - you beat me to it!

Here's a link to an article: http://mlb.mlb.com/news/article.jsp?ymd=20120619&content_id=33603304&vkey=news_mlb&c_id=mlb

It was a "significant amount" of pine tar. Peralta used to pitch for the Nats, so apparently they had "prior knowledge." A little gamesmanship by Davey Johnson - Maddon called him a coward after the game.

Drake is another one who rocks "undershirtless."

Good Lord, ... no undershirt, AND he can't take his mask off without taking hit cap off too?? What's the world coming to?? LOL

A little off topic here...In the not too distant past, two pitchers (Sutton and either Niekro or Perry, can't remember which one) were elected to the HOF, and I am sure there are others. Both were famous for applying a banned substance to the ball. Thoughts on those who are rumored or confirmed to have taken PED's and being "shunned" by the voting writers vs. pitchers who use an external (as opposed to an ingested) banned substance being "embraced" by those same writers? Both are meant to illegally enhance one's performance.
