Anyone ??

I don't care as long as it goes 7 games! :hopmad: But, if I had to pick, I'd like to see the Rangers do it because they've never been there!

Thoughts??

I Ditto your comment!

Well I think Rangers win in 6. I am a rangers fan. But that doesn't sway my prediction.

I just think Texas will outlast San Fran. I hope it goes 7 also. I like to see a complete series.

Its gonna be awhile til April.

I'm not a Rangers fan, (my 6 y/o son is, but only because he is obsessed with the state of Texas for some reason. He actually cried when I told him my brother was being transferred from Ft. Hood to West Point and we wouldn't be going to Texas to visit him next year) but do think it will be the Rangers in 6 too.

I think it will be a great series either way, and the teams seem prety evenly matched to me. I'm looking very forward to it.

I also like seeing small & mid-market teams succeed. And is a constant reminder that baseball does not need a salary cap.

+1 for Rangers in six. San Fran has some good pitching and great D. But I don't think you can shut down the Texas offense for long. I think Lincecum gets the job done twice and that's it.

That being said, I'm happy no matter who wins. I love the Rangers' aggressiveness and am a big Wonderboy fan, but I also like what the Giants have been doing with Huff, Posey, and 6 role players and great pitching. Going to be a great series.

I disagree, but that's a completely different topic.

I said at the beginning that there is no way Texas or San Fransisco would touch Yankees or Phills so I have no clue. Obviously I know way more about the rules than the players.

I guess I am in the minority here. I've been a life long Giants fan, and hope this is finally our year. Who knew? If they win, they will go down in history with the 88 Dodgers as the most unlikely teams to win it all. Oh, well, I'll take it though if it happens!

On a side note, this has been a great fall for me. The Giants in the WS, and Boise State in the NC discussion.

BTW the 3rd team is having a great series. :WTF

I agree Warren. I noticed last night on the play where Kinsler made a great stop on a grounder and threw wide to first forcing the first baseman to stretch, they replayed it umpteen times from every angle possible trying to see the first baseman's foot off the bag - but to no avail! ;)

Wasn't that frustrating?? Even my wife said ..."geeez what's up with these announcers, even I can tell you he was out!" ;)

That's my girl!;)

I am not voting because I totally blew who was going to be there so I wasn't making further predictions. I have no dog in the hunt so I am simply watching for entertainment value.

Does anybody know the Heimlich Maneuver????

The Rangers are choking to death...

Ain't that the truth! I really don't care who wins, although I'd prefer to see the Rangers win, but I want 7 games dammit :agasp_:!

Hopefully Mr. Lee will be ON tonight and they'll move back to SF .....

Come on Cliff, give me ONE MORE game this season,....PLEASE!

I had predicted that the Rangers would win.

I take it back.

Now I predict the Giants will win! :agasp_:

I would have picked the Rangers as well. But, SF's pitching has shut them down. And, now, the Rangers find themselves in the same hole the Phillies did: Down 3 games to 1 and having to win the next 3 games against 3 of the toughest pitchers to hit. Especially the next 2 who have dominated the Rangers (Lincecum, not as much but effective and Cain, who did).

Tough battle for them.

Don't care much either way, but do hope it goes 7 games. If Cliff Lee wins tonight, the Giants are in an almost must-win situation in game 6, because they won't want the pressure of a game 7 once they had a 3-1 lead.

Hell we know umpiring. Even though this was a 4-1 series it was a pretty good one.

I also have to say excellent series for the third team, even He-who-shall-not-be-named couldn't come up with anything stupid to say about the umpires. The umpires shutdow the announcers like Lincecum shut down virtually everybody he faced this season.

After much consideration, I will say the Giants.

:question1:As long as Manning is healthy!

I've been away a few days running our ski club swap - but I'll go out on a limb and pick the Giants in 5.

Am I too late?

You are a baseball genius. :)
