What cha got at 0-3. Watch the whole thing beginning to end.

Do ya get it? Well do ya?

Out/safe from the short look you get at that camera angle and no other angles?

Umpire positioning?

Does the manager stay (remember--audible to the stands--umps weren't miked-picked up elsewhere) HS, College, Pro?

He cursed me, he cursed me. Did he? Did he "curse "you"" or did he use curse words when talking to you. I have heard many officials claim "he cursed "me"" as in personally when this type situation happens?

Where are you military and law enforcement guys. Did he "curse "you"" or did he use curse words when talking to you?

What about you guys in the workforce. Would this be "cursing the "employee"" or would this be cursing when talking to the employee?

This is one of my all time favorite films. Two reasons.

1. I originally watched this prior to my final year of coaching and first year of umpiring. I felt it help me in both worlds.

2. This is one of the most innocent, innocuous and effective uses of the "F" word I have ever heard, despite the fact that he screams it dozens of times.

Garrido was pretty much the S#!t out here when he coached at Fullerton. I constantly run in to people who played for him, against him, umpired his games, etc. and every one of them loves him.

I love his story. Fullerton beat Texas in the CWS in '84 and '04, and Garrido was in different uniforms for each game. You can't write that.

I need Kevin Costner to make a movie about him.

Also, I love that burnt orange. The only place on the planet it exists is U Texas.

sdix, I want to say he was in Costner's movie "For the love of the game" as a manager.

From a LE perspective...we have policy regarding the use of profanity by officers, and all officers are required to tape record every contact made with the public. Like in umpiring, it is all context. While an officer would be disciplined for telling someone they are "a dumb motherf..er" (even though they probably are), listening to another guy's tale of woe and responding with, "yea I know, thats f'ed up" would probably not result in discipline.

Evidently there is a version of this video with a F-Bomb counter (gets into the low 50s) then steam comes out of his ears and in the end Garrido's head explodes. Supposed to be quite funny!

Just starting to scratch into college-level ball (summer wood bat leagues). Is it normal to not EJ on a "you f-ed up" comment? Seems like you combine "you" and "f-ed" and it would be automatic at most levels.

And that comment came after a warning. Normal?
