Finally ordered plate shoes!

I finally talked (bribed?) my wife into letting me order some plate shoes! I got the Reebok Field Magistrate II in Low cut. I am used to low cut because that's what I normally wear on the field anyway. And I read so much about the comfort of the Reebok that I decided to go with that one! I got the white logo because I found them for a great price on Amazon, but I plan to black them out. I am planning to try some fingernail polish that KFinn recommended on another thread. I am excited for them to arrive!

A pair of plate shoes is a lot cheaper then medical bills for a broken toe.

Right when I got my Reebok's I took 2 shots on the foot and didn't feel a thing. Funny thing was for the 4 previous season I have only taken one shot to the foot with my other plate shoes.

Got them in and they are comfortable! I wanted the mids. The only available were the lows. When I open the box they were mids (yay!). And two different sizes.... 10 and 10.5. I have been wearing them over an hour at the house and can't tell the diff. I left the tags on until I make sure. But so far so good. Next plate game is Saturday so ill get to put them to the test!

I'd send them back and get the proper sizes. For what they cost, it's not too much to ask. But they're your shoes.

I agree. I'd even call and ask for two-day shipping (or overnight) for the new shoes, with the agreement you'll send your shoes off on regular ground. I might even ask for them to pay for your shipping the shoes back, since it was their fault.

You're going to be wearing the shoes for, hopefully, a few years. You want what you ordered. Also, you want them for your game on Saturday.

Send them back if they are wrong. Feeling good walking around the house and feeling good after several innings are two completely different things, you will have a much harder time sorting this out after you have truly worn them.

I took a tape measure last night to check the difference between the two shoes. Every measurement was exactly the same. Heel to toe, height, circumference around the middle, circumference around the toe box (what I was most worried about). If there was any difference it was too small to see. I'm thinking maybe one was labeled wrong? How possible do you think this is?

i agree kevin...and wilson rawlings all star too...nothing is made in the usa...except for douglas chest protector that hasnt changed in 25 years
