Would anyone who purchased the new CP please post some alternative pictures rather than the stock photos? Thanks

I'm a photographer, among other things, so, Brad at All-Star, if you're reading this, maybe you can send me one, and I'll do a really cool array of tasty photos that are sure to hook even Chris Hickman. And I'll lend the rig out freely, and I'll talk many of my colleagues into buying one.

It's just a thought.

Hi Kevin...thank you. Yes, I know I have a problem. I hope nothing new comes out now...I truly will have to buy more gear to haul my gear. :-)

You know, I'd understand, but for the timing. I know where you are, and that your new equipment will not see a pitch for five months. Therefore, not only do you have an issue with being addicted to new equipment, you are a masochist in staring at it for close to 200 days...:GL:

Yeah, but I know that it could be impossible to get if it gets popular in the Spring. Hopefully a couple things turn in my favor so I can attend the Evans Florida Classic in December, so I could wear it there. Time will tell.

But yes, right now it is in our bedroom and it's driving me nuts not being able to use it.

Have a good off season!!!

Come to Southern California. I'll give you some D-I scrimmages at a leading university. It's the way we get/stay sharp, and test out premium gear. You'll see some mid-90s gas. It'll give that rig the ultimate test.

Got my new all-star shin guards in the mail today. They feel good!!! They feel a lot lighter than the wilson west vest pro shin guards I had ordered and sent back several weeks ago. I have a couple of 15-17 year old fall league games next week, so I will be able to try them out. Can't wait, these are going to be so much better than my honigs k-10's. Now to save some money for the all-star chest protector :Got to figure out what size to order on the chest protector. I have a WV Platinum 12 inch now and my bottom ribs are not covered. I am 5'9" and around 220. So if any of you that are close to my size have tried the all-star, let me know what size you think would work best.

DL

A 12 is 12 in the front, and 13 on the sides to protect your ribs.....depends on how much your Platinum is missing

Im 5'8 and I have a 12... Works just fine for me..

Ok, but ... 5'8" what ? 180? That's going to make a difference....DL is 220 ....he's got a different 'cage' size! :)

Just wanted to give an update on the all-star shin guards. Had two games last night, second game I had the plate. These shin guards, rock!!!. They feel great. For the first time, I didn't have to adjust my shin guards every inning or between batters. They didn't move. I had the k-10 from honigs, while these are heavier they still felt light and didn't affect my mobility down the lines. I am very pleased with these shin guards.
