Alright fellow umpires, we know you’re out there... you love shined leather shoes, looking just like the ol’ Big Leaguers (umpires... who cares about the players?), and lament the movement toward mesh-comprised trainers that are “impossible” to keep clean and won’t take the shine you’re only too proud to perfect. Sorry, alas, I cannot dwell in your camp any longer. It’s just too damned hot here in Arizona. But, you can have my shoes! These are the first-version MU950’s, in the mid-cut, that the Major Leagues wore and featured for a couple of seasons. They do have the white mid-sole and big N on the sides, and they’re in meticulous, clean, intact condition. I only trotted these out for “big” games in Wisconsin, New York, and Iowa, and never in the rain (which kept them from being worn a lot in Wisconsin... and New York... ). When I relocated to Arizona, I wore them for one game (Perfect Game), trying to impress my new colleagues, and within minutes, my feet were frying under the inescapable sun. From then on, I put them back in the box and invested in other more ventilated shoes for the bases. Now I’m off to the Dakotas to work a season of Independent league baseball, and luggage space being a premium, I’m not likely to bring them... so it’s best if one of you guys took them off my... hands?... err... feet?... As noted, they are Size 11-D and the treads are still completely intact. Needed to get some replacement laces for my 460s. Went to the NB store. Told him there 6 eyelets per side....he sold me 45" laces. Got home took laces out of one of the 460s....a lot longer...Measured about 65". Took 45" laces back and exchanged for 63"...longest they make. Fit great. So if you need replacement laces for NB 460s...get a 63" lace. Next I am going to take the laces out of one of my zig plate shoes and measure it so I can have a back up pair of laces for them.

OK ....here's what I have .......   I have a SET of umpire shoes.  These are 3n2 base and plate shoes, size 10.5.  Light and comfortable, worn for one season (2010) and have been sitting in the 'umpire close' since as back ups and they're doing no good 'sitting there'   They are used but in decent shape.   The plast shoe (right shoe) has a tear on the outside connection of the metatarsal plate to the toe area (can be seen in the picture of the plate shoes stacked) but it's currently 'repaired' but the tear is there.   I also have 2 Navy Richardson fitted Combo caps, ...one 7 1/4 and one 7 3/8 with the 7 1/4 showing more wear (plate cap) but still in decent shape.   I thought this stuff would be decent as backup, or for a quick easy starter kit ..........   Make me an offer please.   Paypal only.   IM me please with any questions at all......    

Cleaning out the Umpire closet today and decided it was time to unload some stuff that I don't use anymore. Nothing is wrong with any of it. Some of it was never even used in a game. Hi all, I am in possession of some lightly used umpire shoes. The actual shoes I love, they are just a tad too big for my feet. I probably needed a 12.5 and I sized up to 13 because ump-attire.com lacked that size. These are very lightly used and I can assure you they will be clean as a whistle before they are sent out. The plate shoes have been used for about a full season, which is probably about 20-30 games for me and the field shoes have been used for about half a season which is about 15-25 games for me in the field.
