Tried the Schutt padding idea on my Douglas. This is with no mods whatsoever. Fits well, but not for me, went back to the original padding.

They're riveted in. Might grind the head off and replace with a long chicago screw.

Nice hollow steel west vest pre dynalite. This has the larger ear guards and it also has a wider field of view than the newer frames I've heard. Original pads are in good shape and I've used them for high school with no problems. Top pad has some slight discolored spots but nothing really noticeable. I vinyl stripped it and spray painted it but it needs another coat or a powdercoating to look better. $50 shipped.

I think I will try some of that swimwear material someone posted in the first page of this thread. I really like this pad and want to bring it back. I'll see if I can find a seamstress (or my mom lol) to do it. Just have to figure out a way to get the shoulder pads off without destroying them.

Thanks, but I much prefer the padding and plates of the vsport. I hated the way the champion fit me.

Reviving this. Just got a vsport and the cover is tearing off the foam pretty bad after my first game with it. Should I try the washing machine route first or just let it come off on it's own? It was kind of sticky but it might be due to the warm weather today.

Ray, I just got a vsport. Think the padding would fit on that?

That's why they are so good in my opinion. The lack of chin contact has really helped in jaw shots, same with the mag pads. It feels like they disperse the force onto my cheeks and jaw and keep the pressure away from my chin.

Going to bring this back because I am a full on Belgard convert now. After getting concussed with Honig's, I can't see myself using anything but Belgard or All Star Mag pads. And no, I don't like TWs. Absolutely worth it to me.

I'm not going anywhere, but I see how it could make someone not want to continue. Seems like there's a lot of experienced guys who don't really care about the game. He didn't back me up on the field when I got into some heat and I could see him and the HC talking between innings and looking at me. Never understood it. We need to have each other's backs out there.

Thanks for the replies guys. Turns out my partner never did anything so I called my assigner who told me to send an email with info about the ejection. I kept it short and sweet using the advice from here. Thanks everyone.

Nice mask, looks brand new to me. Mizuno W pads like a Belgard. $55 plus shipping.

He's way more experienced than me and said he'd take care of it. I asked if he wanted me to do anything and he said no. I haven't gotten a phone call or anything from my assigner.

Just bought a pair of these in 13s a couple weeks ago for $80 after not being able to find them in my size for months. Lol.

Not sure what will happen, my partner said he would take care of it. Might be a suspension.
