1. I'm actually making my own vest. I bought a memory foam mattress pad, some wicking sports material, and some wicking mesh. I'm going to re-engineer my padding altogether. If you can wait a few weeks, I'll tear apart the interior of one of the vests I'm cutting apart and will let you know what's possible. Sent from my SM-G920P using Tapatalk
2. Don't call a catchers balk, ever. Never. Ever. Sent from my SM-G920P using Tapatalk
3. What!? Wilson got rid of the shock 2!? Damn, I'm gonna have to buy a backup quick. I love mine but the springs are starting to wear down since my local umpires are constantly borrowing it so it's seen a lot of ball games. Sent from my SM-G920P using Tapatalk
4. Hey bud, you're coming off as deliberately obtuse and confrontational. Might think about that people have lives outside of UE and aren't running from you. Sent from my SM-G920P using Tapatalk

Play at first

No, orange bag is for the first play on a batter runner only. Any play on R1, the orange is closed. Sent from my SM-G920P using Tapatalk
6. How much? Sent from my SM-G920P using Tapatalk
7. Yes please Sent from my SM-G920P using Tapatalk
8. My gut reaction is no, TOP, but I'm not positive. Sent from my SM-G920P using Tapatalk
9. I'm wanting to buy a few hard shells off someone, preferably Wilson's but any along those design lines will work. They don't need to be in good shape nor does the padding. I'm going to be cutting them apart so I only need one that even has padding ( that will only be used as a template). I'm going to be Frankensteining a cp for myself. 10. This happened to a fellow umpire and neither of us knew the answer so I'm asking here. OBR, R3, 2 outs, 2 strikes on the batter. R3 steals home just before the pitch, ends up sliding between the batters legs and hits home plate just before the F2 catches a strike 3. Does the run score? Sent from my SM-G920P using Tapatalk
11. Congratulations bud, I'm so glad it's working out for you! Sent from my SM-G920P using Tapatalk
12. Thanks! I'll definitely give him a call. Sent from my SM-G920P using Tapatalk
13. I don't think there is anything we can't wear in Nebraska, look professional and match and you're good to go. I doubt outlandish colors would go over well with the coaches though. Missouri, all I've seen is Navy [emoji22] with shorts (not joking) or Heather Grey. I swear by my boomba turf shoes. I own several pairs of their athletic shoes and every one fits exactly the same, super comfortable even after 5 game days and they are super cheap to buy. Sent from my SM-G920P using Tapatalk
14. Would get too dirty, especially not good for wet games. I'd look at either clear lense or yellow lense sports glasses. I like the yellow polarized for evening games, mine are shooting glasses and really help pick up the ball better than I did with the clear. Sent from my SM-G920P using Tapatalk
15. I'm looking for Fed guys in and around the lake area, but not too Lake areaish. Sent from my SM-G920P using Tapatalk
16. Heymajordave, think they have an audit price for this camp? I don't want to get in touch of assigners nor do I want to work college or do the field work but I'd like to see how far behind this I am. Sent from my SM-G920P using Tapatalk
17. This was a mistake. Ejected coaches go to the parking lot or further, they do not stay in the dugout - ever (I think Fed says something different here because of teams taking busses). You hold the game while they leave then continue when they are out of sight. Sent from my SM-G920P using Tapatalk
18. Welp, made it through our road to Omaha tourney hell weeks virtually unscathed. 10 days, 56 games, 3 championship games, 0 coaches tossed, 1 coach restricted, 2 "that's your warning coach" and only 1 massive bruise. Tomorrow after a two spot, it's back to the Internet wasteland of my house in Missouri. Bonus for me, 2 semi-local Missouri teams thought enough of my umpiring skills to ask that I umpire games at their complexes, and they both lost on my fields. Have to come to Omaha to pick up games in Missouri, lol. Thanks guys, I owe so much credit to you all for not only helping make me a competent umpire, but also giving me the skills to manage those games professionally. Y'all rock! 19. I'll try it if they aren't just men's pants with an extra seam, poly (not wools) needs a special kind of dye and very very hot water, near boiling. Sent from my SM-G920P using Tapatalk
20. Honigs had some, but they were all mis-sized. I got a pair two sizes up from mine and they still would not have fit a 10 year old. Gerry Davis used to have some but I haven't seen any in a few years. Sent from my SM-G920P using Tapatalk
21. Not gonna lie, this is very true! Ha! Sent from my SM-G920P using Tapatalk
22. We don't wear Heather! Does anybody anymore? My thing with Smitty's is that their old woman's cut isn't really cut for women. They are men's with an extra seam sewn up the back, imo, it's lazy design work on their part and they have no interest in hearing our opinions. I'll send you a pic of my old Smitty's, they look like clown pants. Right now, I'm wearing 10 year old scratchy dalco's (don't laugh!) Sent from my SM-G920P using Tapatalk
23. Get me some prices, I have some kids that need equipment. Sent from my SM-G920P using Tapatalk
24. Only if you're going to have them for sale. Don't tease us! Sent from my SM-G920P using Tapatalk
25. Dumb question but any chance we can see a picture of a real gal in these (maybe even a short gal)? The regular Smitty's have such a huge crotch and Id like to see how these would fit us that don't need the extra room. Sent from my SM-G920P using Tapatalk
