The ball went out of play and I was wondering if you would award the extra base or would the walk supercede it.

Bases empty, outs don't matter, and a 3-1 count. Batter takes ball four in the dirt and the ball gets past the catcher and manages to escape through a hole in the backstop. Where would you place the B/R?
