You know I'm just jealous. Umpire any day you wish to. Great weather 99% of the year (so long as you don't mind heat), surrounded by great mountain biking and hiking terrain, thousands of beautiful women all over AND two pairs of Force3 shin guards. You're THE man Ken.

Tempting. But I can't justify buying any other umpire stuff right now.  But, I've got two masks. Two CP's. Two pairs each of plate/base poly-wools, plate and base shoes, belts, ballbags, indicators, plate brushes, ditty bags, ........Hmmmm, you may be onto something here.

They finally came!!  I tried them on and they are form fitting and comfortable.  Can't wait to try them out on the field!

Once you dial in the straps they feel great

@gnhbua93, I live in CA so ump-attire (based in KY) UPS ground normally takes about a week.  My shins came over 4th of July so there was probably an extra day added on to the wait.

The tops take a couple of weeks to settle in, so deal with them sticking out.

Or wear them around the house a lot. Climbing stairs. Doing squats and deep knee bends. Lay some new carpet or a tile floor while wearing them. That'll loosen them up I bet.

I am so lucky that I got the 16.5" version and they fit perfectly.  They cover the whole knee without any "overage."  I have seen others where the tops are too long and I'm glad I don't have to deal with that.

Does the UE CP have a similar break in period? Sent from my SM-G920T using Tapatalk

No.

They are ready to go out of the box but straps need to be adjusted. Like Dave said wear them around the house and it will help.

Wore my UE shins for the first time this weekend and they are awesome!  Very comfortable and easy to run in.  I may need to make a few slight adjustments but I definitely felt both extremely comfortable and extremely safe in them.

I just can't see myself switching to any other brand of shin guards.  The Force 3's are just that good.  May the Force 3 be with you.  Oh man, I kill me.  MajorDave can you help a brother out.

You think you love them now. Wait until you take a shot and the ball rolls back to the pitcher's mound and if you didn't hear it hit your shin you would have never known it hit you. :rock

Until I get my stormtrooper/umptrooper suit patented and on the market the Force 3 shinguards are THE SH*#. The only ones worth wearing in my opinion. Got a hard knee knocker today in la Liga Mexicana by ex pro F1 throwing too hard for the F2. Didn't feel nothing. Bounced all the way back to the mound.

It's almost like you want to get hit in the shin because you know you won't feel it. Kinda weird.
