First MLB game ever OMG.

It didn't feel surreal at all. I felt totally natural and at ease. I think this is where I want to spend my career.

So in reference to the title.

Erasmo Ramirez come onto the field "Dad, dad, look!" Justin Smoak comes up to bat "Whoo, go Justin!!!" Austin Mahone concert begins "ALRIGHT!"

Umpires walk onto the field.

"OH MY GOD THERE THEY ARE MOM MOM MOM MOM LOOK LOOK THERE WALKING UP TO HOMEPLATE LOOK THERE THEY ARE!!!"

"Who?"

"The umpires. I LOVE YOU GUUUUUYYYYSSS. DAD DAD DAD DAD LOOK IT'S WILL LITTLE!!" (Whom I caught a very sexy shot of while he was stretching. :shakehead: ) "TED BARRETT LOOK!!! AND PAUL SCHRIEBER!!! OH MY GOSHHHHH"

No joke.

I had a lot of fun. I've been told I can meet the crew tomorrow. Seattle won, 7-5.

The field was much smaller than I thought.

Austin Mahone is crappy live.

Danny Farquar is deaf.

And The Chop is disturbingly powerful.

Special secret: I was wearing a Braves shirt under my Mariners jersey and when the Braves were leading I took off the jersey and was a total traitor. :D

I JUST MET PAUL SCHRIBER AND TED BARRETT AND MARTY FOSTER AND WILL LITTLE AFTER SITTING ON FLAMING HOT PAVEMENT FOR AN HOUR WITH A SIGN THAT SAYS "I'm only here 4 Ted, Paul, Marty, and Will. #UMPFAN"

Paul's face when he drove up was the absolute best. As they were driving through he rolled down the window and said "We're going to park the car and BE RIGHT BACK!!"

They were as excited to see me as I was to see them.

That's awesome.

 

I've got to meet 3 MLB umpires but that was at a clinic. Would love the chance to meet them outside of work.

 

Good for you and awesome that those guys did that.

My dad did it because the gate where they come through is in the shade. But I did thank him.
