Struggling to find out where they are still legal in FED, LL, USSSA, and Pony?

For example USSSA baseball rules states â€Only USSSA approved bats, weighted bats and / or USSSA approved weights, shall be used in the on deck circleâ€

BUT I cannot find a list of approved weights.

Who knows?

In LL, traditional batting doughnuts are not permissible under Rule 1.10 Note 2

:-)

Thanks.

Any idea on USSSA?

Is there a good reason to pick that booger ?

Why does LL forbid bat donuts?

If something goes wrong (e.g., the doughnut is designed for a larger diameter bat or something is distorted), the donut could be flung in a random direction with force.

I've re-read the USSSA rb and it appears as though it is not addressed in their rules and by-laws.

I concur.

Maybe. BUT.

On deck batters are illegal..

Regarding LL:

I had this actually happen before the doughnuts were banned.  On a "correctly sized" doughnut the plastic cover on the metal doughnut came off and the metal part went flying off the end of the bat. It's more than just using the proper size.

On deck batters are legal in Juniors and above but doughnuts aren't.

Aren't they legal in Intermediate as well?  Not sure since I haven't worked a LL game this year.
