I ordered mine from Monkey yesterday, and now it says they're out of stock. So it was apparently their last.

As I understand it, unless you're facing ball speeds regularly above 85 mph, there simply isn't much difference between the MVP2500 and MVP4000. Perhaps you may find them easier to get quickly.

Just bought 3 MVP2500s on Ebay for $110.0 per unit for fallball.

Will get some 4000 TIs next spring.

The MVP2500's will do just fine unless they are seeing 90+ MPH fastballs. You might want to look into getting hockey style throat guards for them.
