I'm glad he called INT here. It's amazing how often it seems major league batters "accidentally" fall across home plate after a swing when there's a runner stealing.

As an Angels fan, I really like Gubicza as an announcer, but he and the rules are not acquaintances. 

I think Gubby's description of an umpiring calling a "sacrifice fly" on a fair fly ball to an infielder with runners on first and second base with less than two out supports that statement.

I actually think that was just a slip of the tongue and he meant "infield fly" not "sacrifice fly."  He's said far worse, like last week saying that if a batter's foot touched the plate while he hit the ball that he would be out.  I have searched for him on Twitter so I could tweet him when he makes these mistakes, but I don't think he has an active twitter account.
