Caught a little of your late game Jax. Again you looked good but WTF was up with your partner?? Deep C w r1 only??? Anyway keep us posted on tomorrow's schedule.

Im watching ur game now...2 questions

1. Was the VT F2 chirping or anything at you...because on an overthrow of 1st when you went out from behind HP and turned your back to the dish he kicked dirt and covered the whole plate with it and then I saw you come back and have to brush it

2. Is 3man the norm for CDP Mon-Weds? I know Thurs is all 6man...but the early part of the week does that come from the top or is it the decision of each CC? Seems like 3 is overkill for a 12u 50/70 game IMO

The crew that covers that field can do whatever they want from Sunday to Tuesday - 2 man, 3 man or 4 man.  The playoffs start on Wednesday and while the crew must wear the CDP Navy shirts, I'm pretty sure they can still work the games on their field with as few as 2 umpires and as many as 4.

Actually VT F2 was just messing with me. Very friendly. They won on a Blowout. Had no problems. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 2

Actually VT F2 was just messing with me. Very friendly. They won on a Blowout. Had no problems. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 2

Did you login to the "Dreamspark TV" part of the site? From the grid page, click on Dreamspark TV. Now either login or register. Once you are logged in, click on Live Games. There will be a list and you can select Field 1. Better hurry - looks like it's going to be a mercy.

Do you think the guy who you filled in for likely knew the game was going to be a disaster?

 

with the wide array of talent at CDP..your bound to get a good amount of blowouts.....but Rolo has had pretty crappy luck so far

No. One of the umpires son died a few weeks ago and in his honor they put together a 6 man crew to work a game with him behind the plate. The guy I filled in for was one of the umpires.

Bottom 2 - there was a play at the plate with F2 camped right in front of it.  R3 had to go around him to get to the plate and then the throw came in.  He was safe all the way, but did you consider calling obstruction there?
