IIRC the pro mechanic is the same as CCA: PU goes up to cover after the retouch.   Wegner might simply have misread the batted ball, which got out to F7 pretty quick.   Heads-up work by Timmons if

Nope. The PU has the play at third, just as in 3-man. Just checked the CCA manual.You are right--I stand corrected Spoke to soon--I just check the CCA 2013 manual--under 4 umpire (ok I FU on U4) fly ball to left,catch,u3 goes out u2 has play into 3rd and PU stays home. There you have it! Lock the thread! Everyone else throw away the older CCA manuals!

 

 

I'll stand corrected as well.  The 2013 CCA was in the car so I looked at a 2012 one -- should've known that this could've changed.  I'm a big fan of the change, BTW.
