We're Back! High School Season Starts Today!

Today is the first day for games here in Missouri, and I have a varsity/jv doubleheader and am looking forward to first game day in almost 7 months!  Bring on the season!

I've got my first tomorrow morning. First game since early November.

1st scrimmage this afternoon! 40 degrees and cloudy. Doesn't matter. It's been 4 1/2 months. Can't wait!

Overjoyed in SWMO too, tcasterlin! I FINALLY get to kick it off tomorrow afternoon with a HS varsity double, then the City League starts Monday night.  After that, I'll be on a field somewhere 4-5 days/nights a week until the Fall. CAN'T WAIT!

I had my first paid game yesterday, got ready to get ready and I pulled a tendon in my leg. I had to call off the game. grrrrrrrr! Turns out it is when I sit or drive. I worked the bases today and was fine. I was a mile from my house and my leg was screaming from driving home.

I have scrimmages next week will be the first since first weekend in August... Oh yeah, we might get a foot of snow tomorrow!
