Out with the old...

[James Walker]

This is my old plate gear...

And this is the new ( except the mask frame).

Yes, that's a soft shell cp and catchers shins. Don't know how I survived, but I decided I'd tempted fate for long enough.

[VAUmp]

Is your platinum brand new?  I just bought a brand new Gold (and love it), but it doesn't say West Vest on it.

Does anyone know why the new gold doesn't have the "WV" on it?

[Thunderheads]

[Timothy]

James' CP is a GOLD, and it says WV on the bottom, just like mine, which I purchased from U-A 3 years ago.

[JaxRolo]

Nice! The CP is a Gold

[jmpnjmy]

Nice set up

[Jocko]

Now get rid of your sweatpants/tshirt/Expos Cap uniform and you're all set! Oh, and the plastic ball bags :D

[VAUmp]

My bad, it is a gold.  It looked grey on my monitor.

Does anyone know why the one I bought doesn't say WV on it?

[th3]

now get yourself a Nutty Buddy and you'll be all set!

[Jeff C.]

Outstanding!

But I love my plastic ball bags.

On a serious note, since I have to order bigger shirts, I'm getting black and polo. So then I need new hats. And ball bags. So the only piece of equipment that hasn't changed is my mask frame. SWMBO isn't gonna be happy.

My SWMBO just asked me if need anything else for this season. It was all I could to do to keep from screaming "I want it all!". I need a new bucket and she said how much, I told her and I get a new one tomorrow. An All Star. SWMBO'S are great, aren't they?!

[alex7]

And here I was gonna high-five you for being man enough to just tape on some mask pads straight to your face based on picture 1.

That was my Xmas/Hanukkah present. Sadly I maxed my gear limit for the baseball season with base and plate poly-wools, nutty buddy, TW pads, Reebok plate shoes, S7 HSM, Wilson shins (bought from Celt62), and a new association hat (that she doesn't know about yet). Of course... there is always football season!

[Jocko]

I got a call today from an assigner. Wants to know if I'm interested in calling his games. Great. More shirts and hats. SWMBO is gonna :FIRE:

[BT_Blue]

Tell her you can pay for it with future game fees.

[VAUmp]

This is a West Vest Gold.  I ordered a brand new one, and it is exactly the same as this.  However, mine doesn't say "WV" It has a bigger yellow W on it and where the WV is on this one, is the MLB Logo.  Does anyone know why it doesn't have WV on it?  Just Curious

I believe that it is a little older version of the Gold. Its the one between the WV on the breasted plate and the one with the W on the chest and the WV on the lower plate.

He must not know you very well! Actually, I've never met him. He knows one of my other assigners.
