Thunder or someone.

Is there a video of that shot Randazzo took to the throat in the San Fran game Saturday.

Talk about the ball finding you not matter what?

Thanks.

Thats not the right clip? While that shot looks painfull, Randazo must be a magnet cause he got hit on a foul ball under the mask on Sat in Oakland, I know cause I was at the game !

That shot was not on the throat. That was a shot to the clavicle. I don't think a throat guard would have helped. It looks like he is wearing a Carlucci chest protector. Carlucci's don't have the best clavicle protection. If he has on one of the more modern protectors, the result might have been far less painful.

Even tho this is old, did anyone notice that he's wearing an the old-style shirt while the rest of his crew has the new ones one?

Good Catch! Maybe his new one was in the laundry! :D

I dub you the U-E Fashionista.

No wonder you are an umpire with keen eyes like that.

And watching that is more proof to me to keep on wearing my Platinum. One solid piece of plastic protection from chest over the shoulder. No other c/p has that.

Look at the gap in that photo. Now, get a picture of youself, in your stance, from that same angle.

If you have that gap, figure out a solution that works for you.

Leaning in like that doesn't help the situation.

Not everyone needs a throat protector.

I'll bet this fellow considers one, now.
