It is time for a new mask my current lightweight diamond has served me very well but i am just starting to not trust it. Although I have alot of respect for wilson and believe they are safe they just do not fit my face well. So I am really considering the new +pos magnesium with the doe skin pads or the honigs with team wendy's pads.

What do you guys think?

Two of my brothers recently got the +POS Magnesium, and they dent far too easily. One of them dented quite severely in the first shot it took in the first game that it was used. The other one dented in the second or third game. They both got sent back.

I would highly consider either :

A) All Star 2000 ump

B) All Star 4000 (new!)

C) The handy dandy, always charming, FM25!

Check out All-Star's site!!

My brand new All Star FM 4000 just came and if you are in the market for a mask I highly recommend this model. I have had them all 2 Honigs, a Diamond, a Wilson and even a Rawlings. The All Stars are my favorite. I started with a FM25, then a FM25TI, then a FM2000 and now a FM4000. This is the best so far. It is under 17 ounces, has some inovative design features and the LUC pads are great. With the testing that All Star does (and puts on the web) I don't think that there is a better mask out there.

Its a personal thing but I think the Team Wendy pads are excellent

My current favorite rig is the extra stout, extra light Diamond silver, with black Team Wendy's pads. My frame has actually destroyed a baseball, and stats on the pad's safety speak volumes. I think the combination is hard to beat.
