I admit it's not as fun to watch w/o UNC, but this has been the craziest tournament I have ever seen.

It's official, I am now last. I have Kentucky in the final game and that's it. Damn I hate filling brackets. The problem is I watch college basketball, I don't follow it.

Well the tourney is only getting more interesting each game. We're down to the final 4.

Randy is the only person to pick Duke to win it all.

I really wanted to pick Duke to win it, but last year I had them going to the Final 4 and they lost in the second round. Couldn't quite make myself pick them to take the championship; but if I had known there would be no other top seeds in the Finals, I would have in a heartbeat!

I have a buddy that if Duke wins he wins $1700.00. It was $10.00 to enter a bracket, winner takes all. Somehow I just can't root for Duke, my ACC bias is too strong. I would be happy for him to win but I just can't back Duke, it goes against my very being. :agasp_:

Dang if Butler almost didn't pull it out...thought that last shot was going in! What a game.

A friend of mine got tickets to the Women's Final Four games Sunday at the Alamodome...we were 4 rows up off the floor. Had never really been into women's basketball, but those were some awesome games, especially sittin' that close.

They were banging as hard as the men, especially in the UConn v. Baylor game...Griner, the 6' 8" freshman for Baylor, and the center for UConn were battling HARD under the basket...lots of shoving & elbows. Refs really let 'em play the game. Unfortunately, Baylor played REALLY tight w/ a ton of unforced turnovers (walking, double dribble, 5 sec rule!!!!). Still a good game, as was the Stanford v. Oklahoma game.

Gotta give credit to UConn...despite the distance, they brought a TON of fans and they made some noise. Should be a good game tonight.

Yes, it's Mike and he is $1700.00 richer from that pool, $250.00 from another and if he had made the third bet we told him to he would have had another $500.00. It would have made his vacation to New Orleans Thursday sweet.

Of course he is the same guy that lost a shot at $2200.00 when Leon Lett dropped a ball just short of the goalline years ago. He was just waiting for that last shot to go and lose by one. We would have taken his shoesstrings and belt away.

Too funny! Oh gawd, speaking of taking the strings and belt away...what a flashback when you mentioned that play in the SuperBowl against Buffalo w/ the Big Cat. I think the tic under my eye is coming back!!!

I'm a lifelong Cowboys fan and I can still very clearly recall Don Beebe chasing him down and slapping the ball outta his hands when he started showboating...dumb@ss! As much as I love the Cowboys, I can't stand Jerry Jones and some of the felons....uh, thugs....uh, players he's brought on board over the years.

Glad this one worked out for your buddy. Nobody around here had Duke winning the final!
