I believe all the charcoal pants take the 1 3/4. Some of the less main stream heathers could be a problem. I can't imagine anything by Gerry Davis,Hoenig's, Ump Attire or Lester's would be a problem. It's when you get into the smaller companies that use off brand stuff that the 1 3/4 is a problem.

Thank you sir, ....so Smitty's, etc, wouldn't be an issue either then, right?

All umpire pants I have tried out take a 1-3/4" belt. I have tried Honig's, Smitty's, Gerry Davis, and Dalco. I have not tried Fechheimer.

Great, thanks!!

Fecheimer takes the 1 & 3/4" as well.

I guess it depends on where you work as to the belt you use...almost everyone in our group uses Patent leather...I do both football and baseball. My white hat Requires us to use Patent leather with our Knickers in football.

My personal opinion, patent leather looks cheap and phony. I did buy one with my first uniform and the belt broke at the hole I always used (less than one year). Never had that happen with real leather.

If my white hat required it, I'd be looking for another crew.
