I've worn my UE with the DF harness for 6 games now and I LOVE it! Now, it's true I have not taken a shot yet, but it has already started to fit perfectly against my now-svelte body. As for the shins, I have taken a couple of shots and felt only the movement of the shin against my leg, otherwise nothing. If and when I take a shot to the chest with my UE on, I will definitely post my review, but so far so great!

Just bought 4 yesterday!

I've just this minute completed an order for some shirts, I anticipate no problems but I agree completely with zm1283, dispute the charge and that should get their attention.

I just purged my wardrobe of all my Dalco shirts, all of my shirts are Smitty or Honigs, although the Officials Choice has a new navy shirt I like but it's not in stock yet, FYI.

After several years of debating whether or not I should attend (mostly because of football commitments) I'm going to be attending. I know the quality of this clinic is very high based on the instructors and the feedback from a lot of the students I know. Looking forward to learning all I can.

@blue23ll, I wore it last night without the extension or the "bat wings", rain here today so I'm going to work on adjusting the harness now that I have my delta flex...

First plate last night with the UE shins and CP. Shins are great, did take a shot to the shins and felt nothing, as for the CP I had to remind myself that I was wearing one. The only issue I had is that I couldn't get it quite as form fitting as I'd like, but the delta flex harness should fix that. As soon as I take a shot to the CP I will let everyone know how it feels.

Got my first plate using the UE shins and CP tonight...

BTW, I'm now down to a 36 inch pant and an L-XL shirt!!

My UE CP and shins are at home waiting on me! I have a brand new delta flex harness to put on it! Pics to follow!

Used my Nutty Buddy last night. First impression, this thing feels like it will stop most anything. I ordered the compression shorts and I didn't realize that they had a pocket. I wore it for both games, bases and plate and I never felt it move or even that it was there. Didn't take a shot to the pills but my first impression is that this is a great purchase. I will say that the pocket made a huge difference in terms of keeping it where it belongs.

I went ahead and ordered the UE and the shins together. Should have them by tuesday. pics and a review to follow. @tcasterlin why you should have it by Tuesday? Maybe he paid extra for fast shipping? Maybe he lives close to the shipping area? Games Worked Too Damn Many Uh, probably was a little too optimistic about shipping time...lol

...And don't get me started on the Nutty Buddy!

Well, that's just GREAT! I've been ready to pull the trigger on the UE! Now I read about how mayyyybbbeeee it's not a good choice. So yesterday I go to UA to maybe buy the Douglas or the WVG. TODAY I read that probably wasn't the rig, but maybe just a fluke...I need a new CP and I'm not sure what to buy...DAMMIT, BEAVIS!

My thought is that if this didn't make your hat look like Alex Torres', then I would be more apt to wear my mask than my bucket...

@gnhbua93, I haven't ordered it yet, about decided to include the shins with it...pictures and a full review is coming!

36's may be a bit snug, are they standard or expander waist?

I'm in the market for some charcoal gray plate and base pants, 38 waist and at least a 30 or 31 inch inseam (or enough to tailor). Want to check here before I buy new ones. I'd prefer Honig's poly wool but would also look at Gerry Davis. Thanks!!
-
Congrats on the purchase TC. I hope the Unequal serves you well. Please report back when you get a chance to put it to use. will do!

Used Honig's Poly-Wool Plate Pants, 38R Waist x 32+L
tcasterlin replied to Majordave's topic in Buy, Sell or Trade
@Majordave - are the 38's pretty true to size? I'm at a 40 but hopefully a 38 or darn close by March when I have my first HS game. Also, I was curious about the need for umpires in the KC area during the summers. I wouldn't mind coming up on some weekends to work some tournaments. I teach so I pretty much spend my summer (June and July) umpiring. -
FYI, I've gone from a 46 waist to a 40 and still losing. From a 3X top to an XL, and of course my knees feel a thousand percent better...
