  1. Salaami's post always remind me of a quote by Gerald Massey: "They must find it difficult, those who have taken authority as truth, rather than truth as authority"
  2. It's been a lot of fun watching Tripp move up the ladder the past few years. If u r reading this Tripp, good luck the rest the way! Ramos
  3. If #4 for the white team will probably catch one in the ear next they play.
  4. I miss you. I'm sorry I let you down. I miss you!
  5. Yoga to cure a spine or disk problem sounds as crazy to me as cant think of anything crazier. No way I could get into these positions even when my back was not hurting. http://www.bikramyoga.com/BikramYoga/TwentySixPostures.php If I tried to do that now I am sure I would get a ride in a ambulance to the hospital. I'm telling you this stuff is like magic. It doesn't matter if you can do the poses 100% correct. All that matters is that you try, thats how you get the benefits. You don't have to listen to me. You can keep listening to the doctors. Take there little pills, big needles, and expensive surgeries. Good luck with that. Whatever you do. I hope it works. Good Luck!
  6. BIKRAM YOGA will cure you!!! I know I have said it before and nobody believes me but Bikram will cure your back. It may sound crazy to you but drugs, neddles, and doctors sound crazy to me. I see you live in California. There are a ton of Bikram studios in Cali. Check one out before you do anything else. I hope you trust me
  7. We had a guy in our high school group that worked for a few years. I don't remember him working the dish. But he was fine on the bases.
  8. Here is how I would defend the play. Please let me know if agree or dis agree. If R1 is just standing in right field, I would consider this his lead off. I would just have my pitcher step off the rubber and ask for time. Now no one can advance. Am I right about this?
  9. I'm going to marry a woman with money. That way I won't need a real job. Then I'm going to spend my wife's money on every camp/clinic I can find. I'm going to bring my straight edge razor to camp and shave so close that my face is like a baby's butt. Then I'm going to kiss a bunch of ass. Has that ever worked?
  10. How much would you say politics plays in the process?
  11. Did the home plate umpire ask for help? Or did U1 come in unsolicited?
  12. My excrement stinks. Just ask my wife! You should switch to a vegan diet.
  13. I try to know every bodies first name at all levels. From the AD's at D1 schools to the concession stand ladies at the local LL. I feel it creates better karma.
  14. I have said it before and I will say it again. Bikram Yoga is all you need.

Thanks buddy! I will say this about Maj. Dave, for a man in his early 50's he is in killer physical condition.

I know man, the price sucks. It's only a hundred a month where I live. All I can say is that in my opinion it is actually worth it, but I can understand how the price would keep people away.

    Bikram Yoga

Fellas, I'm sorry if I offended anybody by mentioning my sex life and bowel movements. The point I was trying to make is that Bikram will drastically improve every aspect of your life. Most the umpires I know (especially at the high school level and below) are flat out fat, out of shape, and don't breath properly. I'm assuming that many of you guys fit that same description. I'm not saying that to be mean, I'm saying that because I have eyes. My main goal with this post was to give everybody a opportunity to improve their life in every way. If you already have a steady work out routine that works for you, that's great! Keep up the good work. But I know that there are some guys on this forum that make a resolution to get in shape every off season and never follow through. All I was trying to do was offer them a opportunity to do something that really works.

    Bikram Yoga

I am 36 years old. I have been umpiring for about 14 seasons. About two years ago my back started hurting me ( I have come to find out it wasn't my back, I just had a weak core). To make my back feel better I started doing yoga. I got some videos from Walmart and rented some books from the library. I felt the benefits almost immediately. After doing yoga in my living room for about two years, I decided I would go to a real class. I started researching different forms of yoga to see which would be best for me. Here is what I found: BIKRAM YOGA This will sound crazy but this form of yoga is done for 90 minutes in a room heated to 105 degrees. I know what you are thinking, that's f'n crazy (I thought the same thing at first). I have gone to 40 classes in the last 47 days and I got to tell you I am hooked. This stuff is amazing. The benefits are crazy. Every single aspect of my life has improved in the last 7 weeks and I mean every single aspect. This stuff is the fountain of youth. I am losing weight like crazy. I'm sleeping like a baby. I'm much more calm and thoughtful. My skin is like a baby. I'm having sex like I am twenty one. My bowl movements have even improved. I am serious, everything is better. I have a feeling that this Bikram will also improve my officiating. If you have been thinking about starting some type of exercise routine to get in better shape for next season, you should try Bikram. Google it, look it up. Quick note: I am saying Bikram, not "hot yoga". There are multiple forms of "hot yoga" but only one Bikram. I promise you if you do this stuff you will be voting me UE member of the month for the rest of our lives. One more thing and I hope this isn't TMI. For about the last 10 days my wife keeps saying "wham, bam, thank you Bikram". Think about it. Let me know if you decide to improve your life.
  19. It should be less than $175. You said earlier that you were getting a deal for the UE guys.
  20. Whenever somebody says that to me, I tell them my assigners name and phone number and tell them to call him. Nobody has called yet.
  21. What's up with Paul's necklaces?
  22. I know the exact pitch you are talking about. I call it the "High School Breaking Ball". It's funny because in HS they want the pitch to be a strike but in college they want it to be a ball. Your right it's high.
  23. Does anybody have any info on the Music City Umpires Camp for this fall? When? Where?
