Gentleman- I have been relocated for work and will not be able to go to the Southern Umpires Camp this year that I have already registered for. If you are wanting to go I can transfer my spot to you and will also give you a discount. I paid for an out of town student, which includes housing for the 3 nights, total cost (445) and have already paid the (345 deposit). I will transfer my spot to you for 250 which will give you a $95 dollar discount on camp tuition. You will still owe the remaining 100 when checking in for camp. The NJSAB is proud to announce its Inaugural Preseason Umpire Clinic on February 16, 2014 from 1:00PM-5:00PM in Bridgewater, NJ. This clinic will put an emphasis on the nuances within the two umpire system with “rapid fire†sessions covering: Taking Plays at the Plate, Taking Trouble Plays at First Base, Balks, Administering Halfâ€Swing Appeals, the Plate Meeting, Partner Pregames and Postgames and Handling Situations both on and off the field. Instruction will take place in a large indoor classroom setting with live demonstrations and will be augmented by video clips from recent professional and collegiate games. I have been looking for some camps/clinics to go to this fall in the "southeastern-ish" region before I go to pro school in January and I found this one... I am a newer umpire (about a year of experience) so I was wondering if this would be worth it for me to go to? I never can tell which ones would be over my head or ones I would be comfortable with. I feel like I have a solid foundation in the two man but not as much with 3 man. Any feedback on this clinic and also any other ones that take place before January would be awesome. Thanks in advance

I am sure this post is somewhere but I can not find it....... Does anyone have any idea on Camps avaliable this summer through fall? I have signed up for the Mid-American Umpire clinic and am interested in attending additional camps in the Mid South (Atlanta, Nashville, St. Louis areas). Please share your camp or clinics with dates! Thanks!

Anybody planning on attending the 2012 Southern Umpires camp in Atlanta this February? If so, I can save you some money on tuition. I was all set to go to the Southern camp last year and, due to circumstances beyond my control, I was unable to attend. This year wont work for me either due to scheduling, and, to the fact that I had the opportunity to go to the MLBUC in Compton a couple of weeks ago. I still have a 325.00 deposit posted for the Southern camp that i would be happy to transfer to somebody for 260.00...(20% savings). PM me if interested.
