Can anyone tell me what the zipper inside the Smitty pullover is for? It runs from the left shoulder straight down almost to the waist. For the life of me I can not figure it out. You might think it is for ventilation, but I do not see an entry p\point on the outside.

You made me go get mine a look. I never even noticed it… Now I’m intrigued.

I just turned mine inside out to try and figure. No luck. But I did notice it’s probably easier to zipper the sleeves back on if you turn the jacket inside out. 🤣🤪

I got it!!!!

It’s to store the sleeves if you take them off mid-game!

Give me a better answer and I’ll concede. Beats two lumps in the pants pockets…..or a pair a sleeves hanging on the fence.

I agree with ya... But, I guess I have a new thing to practice on how to get the sleeves into the secret pocket mid-game.

That’s another issue entirely. It’s enough of a challenge for me to unzip and get both sleeves off between innings, let alone open that inside zipper, get the sleeves in there, and zip it back up.

On a degree of difficulty it’s got to right up there with getting them back on. I’ve seriously considered just buying two jackets.  Sometimes they go right on, other times it’s a bit more of a challenge.

My wife gets a good chuckle when I tell her…”OK, clear the table, I have to layout my jacket and get the sleeves back on.

that it is so you can embroider/patch without opening up the liner

Late to the party but this is absolutely correct.

You'll commonly see this on items that are meant to be customized or are commonly customized usually bags and jackets.

Well… I gave it my best shot!

Well it’s got me thinking about interior front drop pockets for ours now. Just not sure how well that’d actually work not being a full zip.

So... you are going to call these these 'richvees', right, for the hidden pocket on all product descriptions? He's the one who thought of them...
