I don't understand the fascination with the Power. It's almost identical to a West Vest, with a different sticker on it. $1,000 for a few plates of plastic and some foam?

For something worn under the uniform, what does it matter? I have a rare jockstrap that I'd be willing to part with for a grand.

I think it's the fact that it was iconic; it was unique at the time; I really don't know, man. I am not paying a grand for one. lol
