This is a partially facetious, partially serious suggestion: a new section, FAQs, maybe with subheadings. It might not be feasible, I understand that.

Others have floated this idea before. Warren hasn't done it, for whatever reason.

Unfortunately, many one-time posters won't bother to read a FAQ. They show up, post their question, get their answer, and they're done.

It would be useful for us, however: we could just link in the appropriate FAQ answer to the questions that arise several times per season.

@LRZ @maven I'm looking into a few options right now.

For all interested please start tallying up questions and answers.  I'm sure I'll be adding one. I just don't know what form it will take quite yet.

LOL..................ANYTHING that results in the answer to the question "Does the run scrore"......being "that is a time play".

One related suggestion, Warren. On the "Ask the Umpire" page, you might change the "small print" to suggest a FAQ check first:

No registration necessary, ask your baseball rules question here to be answered by experienced umpires. Because we get many repeat rules questions, you might first check our FAQs section before asking your question. If we haven't already answered it, then, sure, ask away! But please state under what rules the game is being played, if you know.
