Adams convertible jacket

Does anyone have experience with the Adams convertible jacket? I’ve been told they’re better than the Smitty and similar to the majestic

One can only hope this is better than the smitty. Ive only had experience with the smitty but they are not my favorite.

The material is like a trash bag. If you had the majestic and then got the Smitty, then it is night and day.

I have both.

Smitty: “Scrunchy?” Material. Better for a rainy day.

Adams: Much softer material. Good for a dryer, cooler game. Edit: I DO NOT like the cuffs on the sleeves though. I prefer plain elastic, these are straight sleeves with a rubber flange type thing that you can pull and Velcro to make it tighter. It just gets in the way and comes undone all the time.

Depends on when you purchased the Majestic.  Every Majestic version I had (medium and small) were the aforementioned "trash bag."  The MLB version was as well.  However, if you purchased the Majestic early on, it was the softer Adams type material.

In my experience, all jackets (and shirts) seem to tighten a little more around the waste each season.

the Adams has a drawstring.  It is heavier and sized a bit larger than what the Majestic and Smitty was/is.
