Only used for about 10 games. Work great, just not my favorite. $119, I'll take $65 plus shipping.

I felt they were a little bulky, a little tight in the calves when I squatted low. Maybe being picky, love my old shins; just wanted to try the new stuff.

Bulky? That's a new one that I have not heard. Mine I forget or cant tell I have them on. But all of this gear is personal comfort and preference.

Maybe bulky if you're using kitchen towels for shin guards, but these are definitely not bulky.

LOL Didn't mean to cause a stir. I'm wearing +POS 15 in. Very thin but protective.

Ahhhh, I know these shinguards and I can understand your perspective and opinion. I still have my previous set of shinguards – the All-Star LGU313's – and they are very (very very) similar to the +POS guards (in fact, the All-Stars might be a copy of them). They are very low-profile and allowed me to easily wear combo umpire pants. Heck, I could probably have worn base pants over those things and been just fine. I also felt incredibly mobile in them. I chose to follow the Force3 Ultimate trend, though, because as I elevate into college-age and adult baseball, these shinguards are not only more protective, but afford similar sleekness and mobility. They truly are the last shinguards I will ever buy.

I cam close to getting base pants over the F3's. I just wanted to see if they'd fit.

Do y'all wear your force 3s tight or loose?

Comfortably tight. I wear to-the-knee soccer socks (got plenty) between the guards and my skin. Whereas my previous All-Star guards were so minimal I didn't know I had them on, I know I have the Force3 Ultimates on, but it doesn't hamper my mobility and feel perfect.

I wear compression socks. They keep everything tight and yet provide space from the guards. Soccer socks are for dead lifting.

Tight. In fact I wear all of my equipment tight. I don't like things moving when I move.
