SD vs SF Balk

No clip yet, but was watching MLB network listening to the "analyst" say the pitcher balked by shrugging his shoulders, yet it was because he started back with the left then the right. He is dead set on the shoulders (from taking a deep breath) is a balk, claiming he starts his motion when he does that.... anyone notice this?

Plesac wasn't saying it was the shoulder movement. He said the balk was for F1 starting his pitching motion by starting his hands before stepping off. He was saying "watch his shoulders" because we were looking at replay from the CF camera and couldn't see his hands hands start up. Then he said " the PU can see this easily and called the balk".........

However........

Plesac was wrong. F1 did indeed started his left foot which is the start of his motion before he steps off with the right (correct) foot. Reynolds at one point says "I thought it was because he started his left foot before he stepped off.." and Plesac shot him down like "STFU Harold I know what I'm talking about".

Plesac was also wrong about PU calling the balk...I think U3 called it.

Facts don't matter to MLB network. Plesac is entertaining and energetic. Facts? Forget it he's rolling

U2 called the balk.....not Cowboy Joe.....

Clearly U2 called it and says he steps with his left leg first.

 

Even Byrd at 2nd base calls it immediately!

You know arguments with coaches and they are set on one thing... such as.....

Coach: blue, he stepped off with the right foot tho!

Blue: coach his left foot came back before the right.

Coach: but he stepped off with his right foot.

Blue: but he started back with his left foot and he must continue to throw home.

Coach: but that doesn't matter because he stepped off with his right

That's as clear a balk as we'll ever see in MLB - some guy driving past the stadium could have called that and the manager needs an explanation?
