FYI, I searched for this, but found nothing.

I  got a new mask as you may have seen, Wilson Dyna-lite, black. Love it. But I'm using my son's old Wilson Catcher's gear bag for now, and I'm concerned my mask is going to be scratched up un-necessarily.

What do you guys keep your mask in when it's in the bag? I haven't come across any 'mask bags'? Thanks.

Honigs doesn't list them on their site anymore but they make a nice bag for masks if you don't mind the huge Honigs logo on it.

5th Region Sports in Bardstown, KY sells them and a lot of other Honigs gear.

I also have some Gerry Davis Sports black "wet bags" that have a waterproof lining that protect a mask well. Do not recommend placing the mask into the bag until the pads dry out after a game though.  Unless you want to smell like a catcher pretty quickly.

Add 5th Region Officials URL for bag.

I have them.  They're perfect...even for masks with a throat guard.

I have two Wilson Low-Profile masks with 4" throat guards and traditional style leather/doeskin pads. I can place both masks, pad-to-pad into my Honigs mask bag. I think two full-profile masks may fit as well.  The throat guards stick out of the opening about an inch after drawstring is pulled.

Seriously?  Just took an upper 80's fastball to my head.  Hope my mask doesn't get scratched in my equipment bag.

some people like to be preventative, and keep things looking nice.   Ala, shoe bags, sunglasses case, etc .........

I can't say I've seen a ball 'scratch' a mask in the way I'm trying to prevent. Just sayin... I don't want my gear and uniforms to look unkempt. IMHO, looking unprofessional or disheveled is the QUICKEST way to lose control of a game, with exceptions of course.

Not to mention, stuff lasts longer when we take care of it.

I have the Wilson Dyna Lites - 3 of them. Good luck getting them scratched up. They are like tanks. a shoe bag will work just fine. BTW, they are great mask.

I don't use a mask bag. I organize my gear by placing the chest protector in first front facing down. Then I stack my leg guards on top front down and lastly my mask rests nicely facedown in the knee pad of the leg guard. Everything packs neatly this way.
