I made two calls on the bases today that went against the visiting team.  One was clearly an illegal slide and the other was a tag on a runner advancing to 2B,  The coaches were pretty steamed by the fifth inning, but they were agreeably disagreeable, getting impassioned, but not crossing any lines.

When I'm the BU, I tuck my water bottle in the visitor dugout, just inside the fence.  I looked over between the fifth and sixth inning and saw my bottle outside the dugout, on its side.  Just sad and alone laying on the cold grass.

Yes, they ejected my water bottle.

Just some advice. If you are bringing your own water to the field don't put it in or near dugouts. You invite trouble with this. As you saw today. Ejecting your bottle was a passive-aggressive act but things could and probably will get worse for you at some point if you continue this practice.

OR...worse than some unkind words they might do something to your water. Or touch the rim of your bottle or cup to places you most likely don't want to put your mouth. Just sayin.

Pick up a waterbottle koozie that has a grapper hook (or whatever that hook is called) on it for hanging on the fence.

I carry a small cooler with enough water for myself and a partner, then hang that on the fence outfield from visitors dugout with one of those hooks.

TK, I do this too, and I THINK it's called a carbineer.

I think the technical term for what the Major was referring to is called "assing".     We used to have real prick bosses and they'd bring fruit for lunch (or a toothbrush) and we'd rub it in NOT good places.   It's called "assing".    LMAO.

Get yourself a big old carbineer clip and hang that sht on the fence.......way down the line from 1B.

What's it called when they rub the business end of their junk on the rim of your bottle or cup?  I have heard someone brag about doing that to another person's bottle/drinking cup!

There are some sick individuals out there in the world!

I think you're baiting me into an error Major, and frankly.......well.........I enjoy it.    :smachhead:

There are some immature......sick, twisted, people out there.    I've never used the business end of the stick in a foul way like you're asking, and I certainly don't know a term for such a thing (although one MUST exist), but kids are super creative............and EVIL at times.

A relative of mine was an assistant for a D1 football program. Whenever they played a team with a coach he didn't like, he'd be sure to stick his hand down his pants to get some sweat before he shook the hands of the other coaches.

Not only are there sick and twisted people out there, but I'm related to some of them.

Welp, I just decided to see if there was a term for that by using the ol' Googler.  I learned nothing about that, but learned about a whole lot of other things.  My delicate sensibilities!!

I never bring anything out to the field that I don't want to leave behind. If crap goes bad, I want to be able to leave without worrying about my Super sipper 2 partner H2O generator that I spent $5.00 at Walmart for.

Games Worked Too Damn Many

What would cause you to be in that much of a hurry that you couldn't stop to grab something off the fence?
