A high strike and subsequent ejection of a jackwagon former teammate.

A high strike that Angel rung Andrelton Simmons up for and then the strike out of Laird that he got ejected for the inning after. He has his own personal vendetta against Angel because he says something every time he's behind the dish for my Braves.

I didn't see the earlier strike but the ejection was a strike.

The first one was a ball. Hernandez punched him out while the Phillies catcher was throwing it back to the pitcher. However, the Brave's announcers were already talking about Hernandez being behind the plate and crying before the game even started. They must have some history with him????

Well, guess which team he has the most ejections with before the start of the season? You guessed it, the Braves. Of his 72 ejections as of the end of 2012, 8 were with the Braves. 2nd place is believe it or not, Detroit with 7 but 4 were in a bean ball situation, and Leyland only on that bean ball situation. Seeing as how he broke in with the NL staff full time in 1993, before everyone started working both leagues in 2000, it would stand to reason someone in the NL would be the leader.

 

 

Now guess who he popped his cherry on and has the most ejections? Good ole Bobby Cox starting on May 26, 1992 on balls and strikes working as a "call up". He got Bobby 5 times. Next is Joe Torre (his boss now) as both the Cardinals (1) manager and the Yankees (2) manager at 3 times. Gardy has been chased 3 times and is tied with Torre as a runner-up to Cox.

Not in 1994 when he got him.

The only Dodger manager he ever ejected was Jim Tracy in 2003.
