I just joined my first real Assosiation and have been getting assignments via Arbiter Sports.  I assume there are a lot of memebers here who also use this for their assignments.  I was wondering if there is a way to set up an email notification for when you are assigned a game.  I have to manually check it, but would prefer an email reminder.  I do recieve the 24-hour notice email bore my scheduled games, and I thought the two would be linked.  I have searched the site myself but couldn't find it so I'm hoping someone can lend me a hand here.

Talk to your assigner. Every time I receive new games Arbiter tells me I have new games.

Do you have a smartphone?  Can you access the email inbox that you signed up for Arbiter with?

Whenever I'm assigned a game I receive an email on my iPhone with all the pertinent information.

Easy peasy lemon squeezy or something like that.

Ok, I figured I would probably have to talk to my assignor, but wanted to check here first just in case I was missing some type of small check box.  Thanks guys.

It is automatic.

Games are posted by Assigner and I get email from Arbiter telling me I have new games and to sign in to accept or decline.

If you are not getting email after they assign you games it is because Assigner is not having the system send them out.

I get an email and a text when I get new assignments or changes.  I also get the reminders.

You set this up under the "connected" tab.  There is a price to pay for this.

I thought Arbiter only operates in the US, aren’t you in Canada?

Hmm... okay.  It looks like the paid version will rectify this problem.  But I'll talk to my assignor first in case he can fix it.  6$ is a reasonable price to pay for that feature.

And yes, i am in Canada... I don't see why you would assume a site like this would restrict itself to USA only.

The only time I don't get an email from Arbiter is when a game is cancelled.  Anyone else having this issue?

You should be getting an e-mail notification saying that there are "changes" to your game.

Your assigner is probably not doing something correctly.

No, I think there is something going on w/ Arbiter since the last update.

For one, it's running VERY slow in Safari.

Also, when I change a game date or time, Arbiter is automatically accepting it...that is a huge issue.

Hopefully they get these bugs fixed because they weren't problems before.
