Actually I just checked last years stats.

I am 30 games head of last year and approaching the point where I missed 6 games because of a concussion.

I will be slowing down after April and my body and brain does need some rest.

i had a call when driving to my HS game by one of my assignors..  he had a game that needed umping last night, which i did.  so 41 now. 

 

which brings up a conversation i had w/my mentor on monday.  he was suprised at how many games i've did.  he said he is going to re-evaluate me tomorrow, at a HS JV game that i have.  it'll be interesting to see what he says, as he evaluated me when i first started.. (remember, i'm a first year (he had a laundry list of items i needed to work on at that time)).

I'm at 30 games since March right now. I am on call with work so only did one this week and won't have any until next week. I'm only working a few nights a week plus a rare weekend game or double header. I like it this way and my wife doesn't want to kill me.

Yesterday was my 50th of the year..... I have had probably 10 cancelled due to weather or schools.

tournaments tend to up your game count.   My new work schedule shot my high school season.  Although my assignor likes me enough to throw me a few night games now and then to add to the game count.

Working #36 today and #37 on Sunday.  I could work Saturday, but am going to play golf with my son instead.
