HS Season starts tonight!

Have scrimmages this Saturday, and first real games March 2nd.  We are assigned specifically who has plate and base for our games.  You get a little extra for plate.

Interesting. While the dish is physically more demanding, most of the tough calls are on the bases.

Yeah, I think it's stupid to get paid more for one or the other. They both have their issues and both are demanding in their own way.

Public or Private? My public school system takes at-least a month to receive checks for game fees, it sucks!

Both private and public schools take about a week or less. Its pretty cool!

Wow, we have to wait until July to get paid for HS games, but then blam, a nice sized check

When I did soccer many moons ago that's how it worked with us. We got paid in the beginning of June & beginning of December. It was rough in between, but a nice check when they came.

I started this thread when I had my my game.

 

So for bragging bout it every game scheduled since then has been canceled for some reason or another. 3 cancellations this week.
