Hello.. I'm new to the forum, hope things work out. I'm an umpire for the last 2 years. I did some LL, Youth leagues, some High School. Just did a local Umpire Camp where umpires from college doing D1-D3 came in a teach the course. Very intense and interesting suff. Later.

Welcome. Which camp did you attend?

It's a local baseball umpire camp out in Willsonville, OR. 2 1/2 day event. 6 People from D1-D3, NCAA college umpires taught us the good stuff. Cost of the camp is very cheap. A small price to pay for quality education.

Welcome aboard. You have already started on a fantastic journey, especially by learning early how important camps and clinics can be. This board is also an invaluable tool, and quite the place to have some fun with other Umpires. Have some fun, and ask questions, having to dig up answers is what keeps us all improving.

New to the site. After reading and not actually posting for months, I've finally decided to join before taking the big step of pro school in January. B)

Make sure you read all of the threads on here about pro school.

Some who have been there and have been successful at pro school suggest that you don't post much on here once you start pro school if you want to work professional baseball.

Do with it what you wish, but there are some quality guys on here providing excellent advice.
