The batted ball deflects off the F1's glove, that's why the ball remains in play (not because "he's part of the playing field" as the announcer says). Plate umpire saw it and immediately waved off the umpire interference signaled by U2 Randazzo. Good immediate observation by the alert plate umpire to prevent a mess from happening.

I thought the rule was the ball has to pass an infielder(not including the pitcher), for it not to be called umpire interference?

In this case, is it because F1 made contact with ball, that it remains live? If F1 had made no contact with the ball, and then it hit the ump, then it would be ump interference, dead ball correct?

consider the same play, but insert baserunner in for BU. If F1 deflects the ball and it hits a runner before passing anyone else, are you gonna call him out?
