His foot was moving and from the angle we have he looks safe. Ump had a better angle to see if foot was touching. Maybe cleat bumped up? I'm going with BU since he had better position. :beerbang

In real time this is close, but I have an out. BU is moving while making this call, which hurts him. After replay there should be NO dispute.

I saw BU standing still!

I have him safe. And safe at second too. So we can keep playing and have the Yankee's lose!!

Nah, really, he was out, but I can see the safe call and I'm guessing no one argued at all.

You're correct. No one argued the call. I watched the game. Swisher didn't even get upset. As a matter of fact, I was listening to Thursday's game and they were saying after the game Swisher was asking to see a replay because HE didn't know if he held the bag or not. Now THAT'S close!

Could you check with the other poster? I think he might have had a better angle.

He was moving.

Here's my opinion...

End result, yes the call was missed.

But I believe this is another example of once the defense botches a play they lose the benefit of the doubt.

Definitely Standing still to see the play happen then he moves to make the call.

Sorry. Freeze it at 1:39. That's the second the camera pans and Swisher appears in the picture. If you freeze it right you'll se U1 in mid-stride before the ball is even in Swisher's glove. He's not still at all.

No worries. I was wondering if you were looking at the double play where Swisher also came close to being off the bag.
