Back-up gear?

Hello all. I was wondering if most of you guys have more than one CP or leg guards for back up or two of every item pertaining to protective equipment and accessories? If so do you carry all of your equipment to every game? Thank in advance!

Short answer yes i have a back up CP, Shins, Mask, and i rotate shoes, shirts and accessories. I have my main bag in my car or home and my back up bag and old uniform in my office at work. That way if I ever get a fill in call last minute I can do it without running home.

I do technically have backups but only because I have some hoarding tendencies. I have an old +POS ribbed CP, an old +POS double bar mask, shins and shoes packed away in the garage. They will make it to the dump once my current things become my backups.

BTW I actually held my old +POS double bar mask the other day and thought "wow this is heavy" and I don't use a super light weight one now, just a Wilson Dyna Lite.

I do not have a back up set. I do have two sets of plate gear that I rotate between based on mood, weather and the level of game. One is Wilson Platinum CP and SG and the other is Douglas CP and Honigs SG. I also have a pair of masks in each bag. I have multiples/back ups of everything with the exception of a second pair of plate shoes.

I have 2 CP's, 2 sets of leg guards, 2 masks ( although the old mask is a heavy Honigs) 2 sets of plate shoes and countless ball/strike counters, ball bags, and plate brushes ( gotta love kids and fathers day gifts ) I keep the spare complete set in a separate Wal-Mart special vynil bag in the trunk. More often than not, they get loaned out to my partner for the game when they forget something.

Thanks for the input guys! I was asking, because I have a set of Diamond ix3 '17 shin guards, and a Champion hardhsell CP. I also have a set of Wilson Pro shin guards.I want to buy myself a Wilson Gold CP, and was wondering whether I should shell the diamond shins and champion cp, or hold on to them for back-up gear?

I am with everyone else. I have a at least on backup for everything. They don't go to games with me, but I am thinking about making an office bag...although my office is about a 5min drive from work and there is never any traffic.

Why not just keep your regular bag in your vehicle all the time? That way, you have everything you need with you all of the time. Seems a lot simpler.

However on days I don't have games i drive my coupe to work. All of my stuff doesn't fit in that. So when I drive that and I get a phone call I can say ok. Also if something goes wrong and my partner calls me, i don't have to go home. (it's happened a few times to many)

Get the 36" in diamond bag. Packed properly, it will hold 2 of everything you will ever need on the diamond.
