I actually placed two orders. The first at 8:06 am and the second one at 9:28 am on 8/12.

I have not received a shipping confirmation on either order but both were charged to my credit card on 8/13. Having never ordered from this vendor before, I don't know his routine.

I also placed 2 orders. The first being even earlier than the one I mentioned. My credit card was charged for both orders on the same day.

It doesnt mean that he has the items in stock.

I have ordered from him before and has charged my credit card for items that he didn't have in stock and I had to call back and get a refund.

What he typically does is charges the card for what was on the original order...then does a refund if he was out of stock on something when it ships. Last time It took him about a week to ship when he had his sale (June I think).

He has always been great with adjustments on my orders...especially since I now tag all my orders with the request that he not make any substitutions and ship it what I order or refund me. I hope I got one of the masks.

So is he going out of business and that's why he is selling all of this stuff so cheap? I realize he's one guy and we all ordered a lot of stuff on Thursday, but a simple confirmation email showing what was shipped would be nice.

Not sure if he is closing shop or not, but someone on this site or another site commented as if he personally knew the owner and that he was selling off his inventory. I am not the source and I cannot confirm this.

Drop him and e-mail. He typically replies. And he will probably tell you what he shipped your way.

Can't help you with that. I know that he replied to my e-mail the last time I placed an order. It did take him a few days (2-3) to get back to me. I noticed that my card was charged yesterday as well for the full extent of my order, but I have not heard anything about stuff being shipped yet.

It is the off-season (read football season) for me, so most of the stuff I order this time of year is to stock up for spring.

Looks the idea of shipping today might be correct. I just got an e-mail about a refund for an item that he is out of stock on. He is probably going through the orders and refunding people for things that were out of stock at the time particular orders hit.

The good news of me is that the refund is for $5.49. That corresponds with a McDavid UnderShirt. It was a throw in on my order because I could not beat the price, but not a need. The other stuff on the order, including the mask is what I really wanted, so maybe that means the rest will be heading my way soon.

I have ordered from him twice. First time I got a tracking number sent from UPS. Second time I got nada...it actually surprised me when the package arrived.

I got an email this morning saying that I got a refund for the Ultimate Belt because it was not in stock. I'm assuming everything else was shipped, so I'm hopeful for now.

Plate and base pants - $12 per pair! Don't bother with the combos! You guys that are just starting out and complaining how expensive it is to get going with decent equipment and uniforms (and it certainly is) - then you might want to check out this sale at SOS.

i also ordered the ultimate belt size 36 amongst other baseball and football items and have yet to receive any refund emails ( fingers crossed).. i know heather grey is becoming antiquated but I may order one last pair of plate pants at that price. I hope one guy isn't handling all the orders based on some of the post b/c i can imagine how swamped he must be w/ some of those prices

FYI - the $12 plate and base pants include the more recent color schemes (dark gray / charcoal gray).

Even if they were being given away, I wouldn't buy heather pants at this point.

yeah unfortunately they did not have may size in the plate charcoal pants, and I have never owned a pair of true plate pants in heather

Ordered a bunch of undershirts, socks, compression pants and some extra plate shirts on August 12 #7074. Received everything today. No subs and no out of stock refunds. B) Here's to hoping that you guys that ordered protective equipment have the same luck.

Man, that thing is light. Although I did swap out the pads with the tan leather ones, and will probably change out the harness too.

This is encouraging since my order was about 30 before yours and I ordered the mask too. Although if I don't get it I'm going to throw a fit.

Or it could be because shipping is quicker because they're in SoCal.
