OK all, ....I received my Majestic shirts ...and while I didnt' get a chance last night to click a pic, I wanted to report back.

They seem just fine to me! Especially for $14.98 per ...

They are sized like the Smitty's which is nice. My 2xl Polo blue is large enough to fit perfectly comfy over my Douglas, and only a tad big on the bases. In other words, it's a 'smaller 2xl' than the Honig's I had.

I think that the material is actually softer than the Honigs material, and a little more 'giving' to be honest. The collars seem 'ok' ....nothing terrible, but they are different than the Smitty's collar. I'll just have to be more careful with them, which is no big deal as I keep a close eye on my ump stuff

Majestic sells their shirt for $13

I would rather buy one quality shirt that I know will hold up rather then having to rotate shirts to always look good.

Have you bought a new Honig's? How do you know? And weren't you considering a +POS? They're twice the price and twice as bad.

I think everyone here would welcome you to pay what you want (in this case, $14) to have that Honig's embroidery on the back, irrespective of whether the shirt's any better.

Wow I didn't realize that BaseballSavings.com ships from Wichita. I ordered the Majestic shirts on Monday, they shipped yesterday, and they're out for delivery today. I'm looking forward to seeing them.

Would someone with this shirt measure the armpit-to-armpit and bottom of shirt dimensions for me? Just lay them flat and measure without stretching. Our Association received an April batch of Honig Polos. All were about one size smaller than the tag indicated. They measured... XL=24" for both measurements and their XXL=25" for both measurements. And the fabric has NO stretch to it. I need a shirt with 25+" of width (like all of my other XL shirts) to fit over my WV Gold CP. I'd like to have a "Honigs Polo Blue" plate shirt before my season is over. Borrowing my buddy's XXL only works when he's not.

If someone can post their Majestic shirt dimensions it would save me having to by one of each size to try to get one to fit properly. Thanks!

Below is a synopsis of shirt measurements taken in 2009. It sounds like Honig's may have changed suppliers, but kept the same shirt measurements. The Majestic measurements were taken from a Baseball Savings delivery at my front door today. At $14.98 (minus a 10% discount code) I couldn't pass up buying two polo blue shirts. I just have to remember to not machine dry them!

First measurement is chest, second is bottom hem

XXL

Dalco D260: 28.5" / 28.5"

Gerry Davis Signature (CK): 27" / 27"

XL

Majestic: 27" / 25"

Cliff Keen MXS: 25" / 25"

Officials Choice 25" / 25"

Honig's: 24" / 23"

Under each armpit where the sleeve meets, across to the other ...for my Majestic 2XL, is 28 ...28 1/2. From that spot down the side of the shirt is 23 ish ..... VERY rough measure though

Honigs? If so, I have 23" from armpit to armpit and 23.5" from armpit to the bottom of the shirt.

Edit: Whoops, looks like you were asking for the Majestic large. I have 24.5" and 21.5" for that one.
